PURPOSE
Be a part of the exciting re-opening of our boutique in late 2025 and help shape its future as an Assistant Boutique Manager. In this dynamic role, you’ll manage day-to-day operations, ensuring a seamless launch and outstanding customer experiences in a brand-new setting. As a brand ambassador, you’ll reflect A. Lange & Söhne’s luxury image, transform corporate objectives into actionable goals, and use retail and CRM tools to drive sales. You’ll also assist the Boutique Manager with business analysis and action plans to achieve success and establish the boutique as a key destination for luxury timepieces.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Meet personal budgets in accordance with brand retail strategy.
* Discuss business opportunities and action plans of potential prospects with the Assistant/Boutique Manager.
* Act as a manager-on-duty when the boutique manager is absent.
* Support the boutique manager in integrating and training new and existing team members.
* Assist in timely boutique implementation and control of any new Visual Merchandising concepts.
* Support and ensure the boutique team confidently delivers Lange selling ceremony.
* Be part of a positive atmosphere within the boutique; optimistic, constructive, helpful, and confident.
* Proactively participate in VIP events and orders, being considerate of our boutique opportunities.
* Ensure accurate and genuine relationship building with customers.
* Ensure attention to existing and new recruitment of VIP, customer, and prospect database for boutique sales and marketing activities.
* Individually handle client complaints with care and immediately report brand product-related issues to the Assistant/Boutique Manager.
* Follow up and coordinate individual repairs and after-sales related matters with Sales Administrators.
Qualifications
* Possess a ‘can do’ attitude and understanding of luxury retail sales floor operations.
* Bachelor’s Degree.
* 3+ years of prior work experience in luxury retail management and boutique operations with direct reports.
* Exhibit critical thinking skills and be strong in solution-oriented approaches.
* Demonstrate initiative, be conscientious, and provide complete follow-through on all aspects of responsibility.
* Must be flexible to change and adaptable in work responsibilities.
* Availability and flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and store openings and closings to meet the needs of the business.
* Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
* Have a “team player” spirit and the ability to work well within a group/team dynamic.
* Proficiency with MS Office software required – possess expertise in Excel.
* Secondary language is a plus.
