We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to lead the launch and expansion initiatives within our organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of successfully managing complex programs and driving growth initiatives. This role will require strong leadership, project management, and communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.
Key job responsibilities
- Launch Strategy Development: Lead the development of comprehensive launch strategies for new products and services.
- Program Management: Oversee all aspects of launch and expansion programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting. Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources effectively, and ensure timely delivery of key milestones.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product development, marketing, operations, and finance teams, to align launch and expansion initiatives with overall business objectives. Hold strong relationships and facilitate communication to drive collaboration and consensus.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with launch and expansion efforts, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Monitor project progress, identify deviations from plan, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Performance Tracking and Analysis: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of launch and expansion programs. Monitor performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular updates to senior leadership on program status, including achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize launch and expansion processes and enhance organizational capabilities. Solicit feedback from stakeholders, conduct post-launch reviews, and implement lessons learned to inform future initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams involved in launch and expansion efforts. Promote a collaborative and results-driven culture, empower team members to excel in their roles, and provide coaching and mentorship as needed.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- 5+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Knowledge of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g., pivot tables & charts, multiple criteria lookups, nested logical/IF formulas, data cleansing, array formulas, etc.)
