Echuca Regional Health is seeking to appoint a high calibre applicant for the role of General Medical Physician within the Medical Services Division.
This opportunity is perfect for those with experience in Geriatrics.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising, educating and training of Doctors in Training (DiTs) consistent with their level of training and individual learning needs Support the delivery of regular Cognitive Dementia and Memory Service (CDAMS) clinics Practice evidence-based medicine supported by best practice guidelines and seeking input from other specialists / disciplines as necessary Participate in quality improvement initiatives including reviewing relevant ERH policies, procedures, guidelines and standards when requested Undertake regular Rehabilitation Unit ward rounds as rostered Participating in on-call roster Qualifications/experience required:
Specialist registration with AHPRA as a General Medicine Physician Significant experience in the provision of adult general medicine services Evidence of participation in relevant CPD Current Advanced Life Support (ALS) training Specialist Qualification e.g.
endocrinology, nephrology or respiratory medicine Working for ERH
