Job Description
* Manage and maintain customer credit files
* Process and reconcile payments and invoices
* Collect and follow up on outstanding accounts
* Liaise with customers regarding payment plans and disputes
* Contribute to the efficiency of the accounting/finance department
* Prepare and present reports on collection activity and receivables
* Comply with industry regulations and company policies
* Collaborate effectively within the team and across departments
The Successful Applicant
A successful Credit Officer should have:
* A solid understanding of credit control procedures
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Proven ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
* A team-player mindset, with a knack for building positive relationships
