About the Museum
Opened in 2016, Orange Regional Museum is an award-winning museum dedicated to sharing engaging exhibitions and diverse public programs for audiences of all ages, backgrounds and abilities.
The museum collects, preserves, and interprets objects of significance for our local history and the history of the broader central west region.
Located within Orange's vibrant cultural precinct, Orange Regional Museum showcases long-term and temporary local-history exhibitions alongside a program of the best travelling exhibitions from across Australia, presenting diverse topics including history, science, technology and culture.
Job Responsibilities
* Manage exhibitions, displays and special projects from initial concept through to successful delivery in consultation with the Museum Manager.
* Prepare exhibition project plans, schedules and detailed costings and oversee the design, production and installation of exhibitions.
* Facilitate technical teams including Museum staff and Orange City Council personnel to produce exhibitions.
* Oversee resources, monitor budgets, and respond to stakeholder inquiries to ensure outcomes are achieved on time and within budget.

Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in Museum Studies or a relevant field including arts, management, project management, or equivalent.
* Experience in a similar role including demonstrated experience in exhibition development and delivery or equivalent cultural projects.
* Demonstrated project management experience including the management of budgets for small to medium-scale projects.
* Ability to obtain a satisfactory criminal records check.
Estimated Salary: $1,526.64 - $1,664.03 per week (plus superannuation)
