Bring Your Energy to our client, Nexus Care Services!
Are you an enthusiastic, community-focused leader who thrives on connection, not aggressive sales? Nexus Care Services is seeking a vibrant Community Engagement Manager to boost our presence and build meaningful relationships across South Brisbane. If you’re passionate about NDIS, allied health, child safety, or aged care and ready to report directly to our CEO, this is your chance to shine.
About the Role
Nexus needs someone with infectious energy to drive strategic outreach and grow their client base—without the hard sell. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll create impactful programs, nurture partnerships, and champion our mission to become a trusted name in the community. This is a dynamic, hands-on role with future leadership potential, but right now, it’s all about your vision, enthusiasm, and ability to onboard new clients fast.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and deliver engaging community outreach programs and events tied to NDIS, allied health, child safety, or aged care.
* Build authentic, lasting relationships with stakeholders like healthcare providers, allied health professionals, and community groups.
* Develop creative marketing and social media strategies to spark interest and engagement.
* Grow the client base through warm, targeted outreach and insights from community feedback, with a focus on rapid client acquisition.
* Provide strategic, upbeat reports to the CEO to shape Nexus' goals with fresh ideas.
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 5 years of experience in community engagement, stakeholder management, or a related field.
* Deep understanding of NDIS, allied health, child safety, or aged care sectors (essential).
* An energetic, positive approach—great at inspiring others, not pushing sales.
* An established network of industry contacts/relationships to leverage for immediate client growth. (Highly desirable)
* Skills in marketing, social media, and data analysis—digital know-how a bonus!
* Proven ability to build strong partnerships and a solid grasp of stakeholder engagement.
* A degree in Community Development, Social Work, Business, Marketing, or similar (preferred).
* Current Blue Card and Yellow Card (or willingness to obtain), plus a valid driver’s license.
* Australian/NZ citizenship, permanent residency, or full working rights.
Why Nexus Care Services?
* Competitive salary of $95,000–$115,000, tailored to your skills and experience.
* Direct line to the CEO, with real influence on our direction.
* A growing organisation where your energy can spark change and secure our future.
