As an Aboriginal Language Teacher in the Rehabilitation and Reintegration team, you’ll make a positive impact by:
* Facilitating language experiences in a culturally sensitive way to enhance the well-being of students.
* Delivering scheduled training and education in accordance with the prison’s core day.
* Designing, planning, delivering, and evaluating education programs for prisoners.
* Managing the administrative functions and requirements of the role in a timely and accurate manner.
* Actively participating in operational meetings, including Education and RTO meetings.
* Developing, updating, and managing student education resources within relevant security requirements of the center.

To be successful in this role you’ll have:
* Experience in teaching language to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, enhancing their well-being.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with varied stakeholders.
