About the Role
This is an entry level role for an Assistant Development Manager or Development Manager to assist with the execution of the company's acquisition strategy. Your role will be to work with the Directors to define the desired geographical location for new projects and then undertake the research and engagement with agents and other channels to source new opportunities. This will include site investigation, preliminary due diligence to consider site constraints, preliminary feasibility assessments and ongoing reporting. Once potential acquisitions are highlighted for detailed investigation, you will work closely with the Directors to finalise and complete the acquisition process. This is a ground floor opportunity with significant upside potential and requires an individual that is excited by the opportunity this presents.
Key Responsibilities
* Research and identify new market segments and growth opportunities.
* Assist in developing and implementing structured systems and processes.
* Conduct initial feasibilities for identified sites.
* Support external projects, ensuring high standards and exceptional service.
* Manage relationships with external agents, service providers and consultants, fostering strong, productive partnerships.
Ideal Candidate
* Strong numeracy and analytical skills, ideally from experience in valuation, financial analysis, or similar roles.
* Previous experience in property development, particularly within the residential sector.
* A process-driven mindset with the ability to establish and follow structured systems.
* Confident and mature communicator, comfortable liaising with agents, consultants, and clients.
* Quick to build relationships, able to engage with clients and consultants effectively.
