Cleared Recruitment is currently seeking an NV1 ITIL IT Asset Management Specialist for a major global professional services company based in Melbourne. This position plays a critical role in managing the full lifecycle of IT assets, ensuring effective tracking, utilisation, and compliance with ITIL standards. As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will drive efficiency in asset management processes, collaborate with key stakeholders, and ensure the organisation's IT assets are fully optimised and compliant with company policies. Your expertise in asset lifecycle management, procurement, and process improvement will be key to minimising unnecessary expenditures and enhancing operational performance. Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain IT asset management policies in line with ITIL best practices. Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of IT assets, including hardware, software, licenses, and peripherals. Oversee the full lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to disposal. Conduct regular audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance with organisational standards. Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to ensure cost-effective asset acquisition and contract negotiations. Monitor asset usage and performance metrics to drive optimisation and cost savings. Integrate asset management processes into IT service delivery workflows. Provide technical guidance and support to stakeholders on asset management processes. Utilise tools and systems to automate asset management workflows, enhancing process efficiency. Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to IT asset management. Requirements: Proven experience in IT asset management, with a deep understanding of ITIL frameworks. Proficiency in IT asset management tools and platforms such as ServiceNow. Strong analytical skills with a focus on process improvement. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various teams. Familiarity with hardware and software licensing models, compliance requirements, and asset lifecycle management. ITIL Foundation certification or higher is essential. Desirable Qualifications: Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or Certified Hardware Asset Management Professional (CHAMP). Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
