An exciting opportunity is available to join the business in this varied role supporting the Risk & Governance function, ensuring the business meet their corporate governance, regulator and Board deliverables, and fiduciary responsibilities. You will support ongoing compliance with disclosure and reporting obligations, ensuring a robust governance framework is in place.
Typical duties include:
* Source, collate, analyse and present data from service providers and regulatory/industry bodies.
* Assist in the oversight of service providers by attending meetings and coordinating annual reviews and reporting.
* Contribute to the managing and evidencing of compliance with prudential requirements
* Assist the external auditor in managing their deliverables and supplying requested information
* Manage the process for reviewing Trustee Policies and procedures in a timely manner
* Contribute to the delivery of all required governance and regulatory obligations, such as APRA reporting, Responsible Persons requirements and website disclosures
* Maintain and monitor controls for Trustee related functions
* Record and track all actions arising from Board & Committee Meetings
* Collate information from business units to accurately monitor the Trustee’s Risk Management Framework
It is not expected that you will have experience with the above functions. Training will be provided. The breadth of this role presents an opportunity for someone willing to learn and enhance their skills within governance and broader risk / control function.
To be successful you will have:
* University degree in Law, Finance or relevant industry
* Experience in the Superannuation or Investment Management industry, with an interest in compliance, governance and risk management.
* Excellent attention to detail
* The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
* A flexible approach to work with the desire to have a varied role
* Strong work ethic and the ability to work well autonomously and in a team
