Reporting to the Senior Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Implementation the strategic vision for Docklands as a key urban renewal project
2. Manage development agreements with valued development partners including re-negotiating deals and facilitating land sales within the Docklands precinct.
3. Manage projects in line with Development Victoria’s policies and procedures including financial management and risk reporting.
4. Support the Docklands team in the delivery of corporate goals, objectives, milestones and targets
5. Identify, monitor and mitigate project risks
6. Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to successful deliver project outputs
7. Manage Development Victoria’s assets including the divestment of land.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
8. Bachelor’s degree or other tertiary qualification in planning, engineer, property, construction, development, project management, law or finance or other related discipline. Postgraduate studies in a relevant field are desirable
9. Ability to understand relevant legislation and regulations including the Development Victoria Act, Docklands Act and Victorian Government Land Transaction Policy and Guidelines
10. Proven ability and experience in project management, budget and financial management, risk management, asset management and facilitating procurement processes
11. Ability to navigate complex legal documents including development agreements, contracts, leases and licences
12. Experience in the preparation of complex memorandums, letters, emails and reports using clear, concise and grammatically correct language
13. Proven ability to collaborate to deliver major projects and to build relationships and engage effectively with key stakeholders
14. Ability to facilitate complex negotiation
15. Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
16. Strong problem-solving ability and self-management/organisation skills to plan, drive and lead projects
Ability to understand development feasibilities and commercial analysis.
You will need to be:
17. Self-motivated, proactive, highly conscientious and have the ability to work in a high-pressure, fast pace working environment
18. Plans and prioritises work to concurrently progress a large number of projects, tasks and administrative processes at any one time
