About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Materials Controller to join our dedicated client contract team in Darwin, Northern Territory. This is a 3-month short-term commitment role available on a full-time basis, commencing in February or March 2025.
This role will heavily favour candidates with specific experience and exposure to Shell's Prelude project. You will be responsible for undertaking the effective receipt, storage, movement, and control of all materials to support the business.
You will liaise with other Supply Chains, user groups, third parties, clients, and Supply Base & Marine contractors to ensure that all materials and equipment are received, marshalled, and shipped in accordance with company procedures and internal controls.

Requirements:
* Upper-secondary qualifications (equivalent to ISCED Level 3) from a recognised institution
* Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in materials/logistics within the Oil & Gas industry
* Varied and detailed work experience in the industry
* Previous experience with ERP systems (e.g. ERM, Maximo, Oracle, SAP)
* Qualifications for dangerous Goods by Sea & Air
* Manual handling/Forklift licence and experience preferred
* Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and coordinate activities accordingly
* Commercially astute with a 'solutions mindset' and sound management of risk
* Customer-focused with an ability to develop trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders
