Reporting to the CEO - NIIM your key responsibilities will include clinical staff supervision, rosters, and providing clinical advice to the medical administration team, liaising with Integrative GPs and allied health professionals, as well as ensuring that all documentation, systems and processes are adhered to as part of AGPAL accreditation.The role also has nursing care responsibilities in the provision of treatment in the IV Clinic, patient assessments and practice support duties.
Ensuring patient quality and safety is a key component of this role including infection control and managing escalating care as required.You will work across the following key areas:Nursing CareImplementation of Accreditation & relevant documentationInfection Prevention & ControlQuality Control and WHS SystemsKey Selection CriteriaBachelor of Nursing with minimum of 5 years postgraduate experienceStrong clinical leadership skillsAbility to build a shared understanding of, and commitment to NIIM's Mission and ValuesCurrent unrestricted Nurse Registration with AHPRA Division 1First Aid and CPR CertificationExperience, knowledge and clinical skills in delivering intravenous, PICC line, port and/or medical-surgical experienceWillingness to undertake training in hyperbaric and hyperthermia treatmentsUnderstanding of the principles of Integrative Medicine within a GP clinic settingExperience in or willingness to contribute to NIIM Clinic attaining General Practice AGPAL AccreditationHigh degree of computer literacy.
