We are looking for experienced disability support workers who take a person-centred approach when supporting people with disability. In this role, you will be providing active support to clients within their home and their community to develop skills, independence, and friendships. Our clients enjoy getting out and accessing the community, they are a lot of fun and enjoy a chat with their support workers. You will be supporting and encouraging our clients to participate in a range of day-to-day activities based on their hobbies, interests and goals set within their NDIS support plans. The role can be incredibly rewarding as you are an integral part of their journey towards 'Better Days, Every Day'. Skills and experience required to be successful in this role: Essential: Minimum of 3 shifts a week availability. The roster includes a range of shifts, including sleepovers (3pm - 9am). Experience providing support to others: Disability, Aged Care, Community, or Allied Health Intermediate computer skills (ie: using Microsoft Outlook, documentation in a client management tool/CRM, Carelink ). Right to work in Australia NDIS Workers Screening Check / willingness to obtain Valid First Aid & CPR Highly regarded and desirable: A relevant qualification in Disability, Individual Support, Allied Health, Mental Health or working towards it.
