Audio and Language Content produces the most linguistically diverse public broadcasting in the world, providing Australian-focused news and information in 63 languages across live radio and digital platforms.The RoleWith a sound understanding of the Chinese-speaking community in Australia and its cultural sensitivities, as a producer, you will contribute to fostering audience engagement on-air and online.
Prior experience in journalism or broadcasting will be highly regarded.This is a full-time position, located in our Sydney studios.About YouTo be considered, you will be able to prove that you have:Undertaken and/or assisted with a range of journalism and content production tasks to compile content for SBS Chinese digital platforms (audio, video and text) and third-party platforms.Proficiency in speaking Mandarin and in reading/writing Traditional Chinese, as well as English.
Also, you will be comfortable participating in a language assessment task as part of our interview process.Demonstrated professional experience using Facebook, Twitter and Instagram would be an advantage.Some Reasons to Consider Working with UsThe people!
