Power Systems OfficerJoining our team means you’ll be part of something that really matters. As our Power Systems Officer, you will be based in Esperance and be responsible for implementing the asset and operational management plans within the Region. This requires a balanced and sustainable delivery of asset performance to support regional objectives, while also working collaboratively with district personnel to deliver operational and customer service excellence. This is a permanent full-time position. Your role will include:
Ensuring Assets are built and maintained in line with agreed plans, budgets, standards, and processes
Procuring/sourcing equipment and appropriately qualified contractors to ensure the safe, timely and quality completion of projects
Ensuring network conditions identified through inspections are managed and work packages created to address critical repairs
Maintaining asset data (GIS/Ellipse) and fault reporting data supporting divisional requirements
Developing asset maintenance packages and manage within approved maintenance budget
You will have:
An electrical trade qualification and/or an Advanced Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
Must possess WA Driver’s Licence Class ‘C’ or ‘C-A’
Demonstrated experience in project management
