Job DescriptionHow will I help?
We offer an exciting opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer within the Secure Network Services (SNS) team within the Technology division.
This position will work closely with the customer engagement team, network architecture team, engineering, build and run teams.
This position is responsible for providing expert technical services in relation to implementing, managing, operating and supporting high performance technology infrastructure.
Your key responsibilities include: Deliver network transformation project initiatives including traffic and routing migrations, build and enablement of new strategic infrastructure.
Implementation of network changes required to deliver a strategic design outcome.
Provide detailed design and technical review of network changes, including the troubleshooting of any network related issues.
Support Business Project engagements.
This involves reviewing customer requests, providing recommendations of the network design outputs, and providing appropriately translated customer outcomes into infrastructure requirements.
Develop and influence relationships with all stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact for Technical Consultations to ensure customer requirements are understood and outcomes delivered meet the needs of the customer.
Collaborate extensively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure solution designs meet networking standards.
Drafting and co-ordination of change implementation plans.

What do I need?
Essential: Excellent written and verbal communications skills are mandatory.
Strong ownership mindset and a great attitude.
Strong technical knowledge of Cisco Routing and Switching (BGP,OSPF,STP,NXOS,N9K) In-depth technical networking experience – 5+ years.
Prior work experience in large organizations supporting complex networks and network projects – 5+ years.
Highly Desirable: Strong technical knowledge in VxLAN EVPN or related overlay technology.
Good understanding of Automation platforms (Python,PyATS,Jenkins,ROBOT Framework) Good understanding of Orchestration platforms (NDFC/ NDI) Vendor certification: CCNP or CCIE.
Good technical knowledge of Firewalls (Juniper high-end SRX, CheckPoint, Fortinet, NSX) Desirable: An understanding of ITIL processes (particularly change management) and ServiceNow in a large enterprise.
An understanding of Cloud networking Azure/AWS.
Strong technical knowledge of Load Balancing (F5 – LTM, GTM, APM, ASM), Crypto PKI and DNS) Experience working in the financial services sector.
