Job Summary
Blue Iris Support Services, a leading disability support provider in Queensland, is seeking an experienced Recruitment and Human Resource Assistant. This full-time role involves managing the recruitment process, onboarding and offboarding, and maintaining our compliance records. The successful candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience in both recruitment and human resource administration.
Responsibilities
1. Be a part of the entire recruitment cycle, including advertising job vacancies, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and facilitating onboarding processes.
2. Develop and manage staff schedules across multiple locations to ensure optimal staffing alignment with clients' needs.
3. Collaborate with various departments to identify staffing requirements and efficiently fulfill them.
4. Ensure compliance with employment legislation and organisational policies throughout the recruitment process.
5. Conduct training and development initiatives for new staff members.
6. Travel regularly between office locations (Morayfield, Toowoomba) for recruitment activities.
Qualifications
1. A minimum of 2 years of experience in recruitment.
2. At least 1 year of experience in scheduling or rostering.
3. Appropriate qualifications in Human Resources, Business Administration or related fields.
4. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
6. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
7. Previous experience in the disability support sector is highly regarded.
