Townsville, Australia | Posted on 21/03/2025National 360 has the exciting opportunity for entry level to senior level Behaviour Support Practitioners to join us!About the RoleWith a strong team of qualified PBS Leaders, you will work in an environment which fosters the advancement of clinical skills through a robust clinical support structure.As a Positive Behavior Support Practitioner, you will be providing a combination of community, clinic, and telehealth-based services to NDIS participants of all ages and supported by a Multi-Disciplinary Team.With our office located in Townsville, you will also have the flexibility to be working within the community, in-home and clinic settings.The overall aim of the Behaviour Support Practitioner role is to improve a person’s quality of life and that of the people around them. Some of the things you’ll be responsible for in your role include:Building relationships with the participant and key stakeholdersConducting Functional Behaviour Assessments (FBA)Developing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans that can include function-based strategiesProviding training and education to stakeholdersReviewing and reducing restrictive practices in accordance with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission guidelinesRegular data collection and monitoring progressAbout youWe believe that talented clinicians are developed and nurtured, not just found through an exhaustive list of requirements. With that being said, there are a few requirements for our PBS practitioners, which are:Experience working with the NDIS to being endorsed against the PBS Capability Framework (evidence of letter of suitability from the NDIS Commission also required)Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (including demonstrated experience of conducting FBA’s, writing and implementing Behaviour Support Plans, and working with Restrictive Practices)A relevant Bachelor's Degree (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Counselling, Social, Disability, Teaching or Social Sciences)A learning mindset and commitment to continuous developmentExperience of supervising or coaching others or willingness to develop clinical leadership skillsNDISWC / WWCC (or willingness to apply)Current Australian driver’s license and able to travel with your own vehicleAbout UsNational 360 provides high-quality Allied Health services to clients of all ages and abilities within the NDIS, Aged-Care, and Insurance sectors.
