Professional development is included, and clinical supervision is available as well as informal support from a close team of dedicated, passionate early interventionists.The roleProvide support services to children and their familiesWork in multiple settings including schools, homes, inclinic or out in the general communityConsult and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order for clients to achieve their goalsFacilitate liaison and support between families/carers and relevant professionals in community and education settingsAssist in preparing children for their next educational environment and provide support to other key stakeholdersWork within a multidisciplinary and transdisciplinary teamImmediate startEssential criteria:Relevant tertiary qualifications in Speech Pathology and current registration with Speech Pathology AustraliaExcellent interpersonal and written communication skillsA current NSW Working With Children's Check and first aid certificate (or ability to obtain one)Current driver's licenceDesirable criteria:Experience or keen interest in working with children who have disability and developmental delays and their families;A basic level of understanding about the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)Proven ability to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders
