Fitzpatrick Optometrists Kingaroy is seeking a Graduate or Experienced Optometrist to join our team in Kingaroy, QLD. This full-time role will see you providing high-quality eye care services to our valued patients, helping them maintain healthy vision and manage any vision-related conditions.
What you'll be doing
* Conducting comprehensive eye examinations and assessments to diagnose and treat vision problems
* Prescribing and fitting corrective lenses, such as glasses and contact lenses
* Managing ongoing patient care, including monitoring eye health and providing treatment for conditions like dry eye and glaucoma
* Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care
* Maintaining detailed patient records and following all regulatory and compliance requirements
What we're looking for
* Optometry degree and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Therapeutically endorsed
* Excellent clinical skills and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with patients, other healthcare providers, and the wider community
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated team
* Proficient in the use of optical equipment and patient management software
