Reporting to the Chief Information and Digital Officer, the Product Engineering Manager (PEM) is responsible for overseeing the development and deployment of all in-house software products with a strong focus on Investigations and Regulatory Operations systems. The PEM will enable and coach an innovative team of approximately 10 staff comprising software developers, testers and technical product owners and manage associated processes with a focus on the Microsoft technology stack.The PEM implements eSafety’s secure development lifecycle, manages the product development processes, and ensures that a collaborative relationship is maintained with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that all products implemented meet client expectations, working as a trusted partner in the delivery of software solutions.The PEM will also create and maintain product roadmaps for all software products in their portfolio by understanding their technology stack deeply and staying across product innovations as well as identifying features, capabilities and enhancement that will deliver business outcomes.As eSafety is a small organisation of approximately 250 staff, the PEM is both the engineering lead and product manager for our in-house software products. This will require the successful candidate to be able to both tackle problems and solutions and successfully navigate between business needs and technical solutions.
