Job Description: Teacher Aide (Hospitality)
At St Patrick's College, GYMPIE, we are seeking a part-time Teacher Aide to assist in our Hospitality classroom.
The successful applicant will support the Catholic ethos of the College and contribute to the welfare, health and safety of students. Responsibilities include:
Key Responsibilities
* Administrative duties including ordering stock, keeping stock inventories, and preparation and assistance in the Hospitality kitchen.
* Supervision of students during playground and bus duties, sporting activities, and school excursions in partnership with a teacher.
* Gathering of applicable resources, in cooperation with teachers.
* Assisting students with special needs in the classroom.
The ideal applicant will possess a high level of time management and work organisation skills, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to work with others.
This is a fixed-term position for 12 months, commencing January 2025, with an estimated start date of Commencing Jan 2025. The salary range is School Officer Level 3 (School Salary Scale)/(Services Salary Scale).
Requirements
* A Certificate III level qualification or equivalent.
* Knowledge of classroom activities, procedures, use and maintenance of resources and College policies.
* Demonstrated willingness to undertake specific training to enhance student support.
Applicants must hold a current Working with Children Check clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
