As an Account Executive, you will be instrumental in driving the adoption of our procurement management platform. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of organizations, from state government agencies to large enterprises, and demonstrate how our solution can transform their procurement practices.
Your role will involve building strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their unique requirements, and guiding them through the implementation and adoption of our platform. You will leverage insights from missed opportunities to continuously enhance your sales approach for greater effectiveness.
Some of the key activities for this role are:
1. Full-cycle new business development, taking ownership from lead generation all the way through to deal closure.
2. Managing existing key customer requests for new project contracts, issue resolution and potential expansion opportunities.
3. Working closely with the Business Development Director for APAC to identify and help develop major enterprise opportunities in the Australian region.
4. Assisting to develop and execute account-based marketing campaigns and events, with the Procure marketing team.
5. Managing all sales activities through Salesforce and other internal systems.
6. Collaborating with sales leadership to establish quarterly go-to-market (GTM) plans.
We would love to hear from you if you:
7. have relevant experience in B2B sales in a similar role (preferably tech sales or selling into government agencies, big 4)
8. have strong sales skills and a proven track record in driving new business growth, negotiating deals, and closing sales
9. can build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and providing tailored solutions
10. possess strong business acumen and the ability to understand our customer's business challenges and provide strategic recommendations to address them.
11. have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present and articulate the value of our SaaS and Tender management solutions
12. are knowledgeable in utilizing social selling methodologies and channels to drive sales.
13. are able to demonstrate success with selling into government, consultancies and/or ASX 200
