Resourceful, adaptable, and innovative, you will manage changing priorities with ease and contribute to developing new ideas and approaches. You’ll lead by example, supervising and supporting junior staff while ensuring our commitment to excellence is upheld.Key ResponsibilitiesClient Services: Deliver high-level accounting functions for allocated clients, implementing systems, policies, and practices to strengthen relationships and service delivery.Financial Management: Maintain General Ledgers, prepare accurate financial reports, and ensure compliance with statutory obligations, including PAYG, GST, BAS, IAS, and FBT reporting.Leadership: Supervise, train, and support Finance Officers and junior employees, fostering their professional growth and ensuring team success.Payroll Integration: Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to process payroll, reconcile records, and ensure compliance with client requirements.Asset Management: Oversee fixed asset purchases, depreciation, and asset register maintenance.Continuous Improvement: Contribute to organisational and client process enhancements and participate in special projects.Travel: Visit client locations to provide on-site support and build strong relationships.Qualifications and Experience:
CPA, CA, or IPA qualification (or equivalent).
Proven experience in accounting, financial management, and compliance.
Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop a team.
Experience in working independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
