: An exciting opportunity to join the National Multicultural Festival to lead one of our community's most beloved events! The National Multicultural Festival is an iconic 3-day event that brings together more than 170 multicultural communities to share their culture, history and heritage through food, art, song and dance. The festival attracts over 400,000 attendees.
As the Assistant Director, Creative and Engagement, you’ll lead a small team to create the festival program, manage the community performer grant program, lead community consultation and engagement, volunteer coordination, and support the Senior Director with sponsorship acquisition.

This role will work with the wider festival team to ensure the festival is managed in line with all relevant policy and legislation including but not limited to the 2025 Major Events Strategy for the ACT, Australia’s Strategy for the Protection of Crowded Places from Terrorism 2017, and the Work Health and Safety Act 2011.
