About the role As a key member of the IT Operations team, based onsite in Silverwater, you will coordinate and provide administrative support for a large infrastructure environment. Your role will involve managing projects such as establishing new franchise complexes or warehouses, closing, or relocating existing ones, overseeing hardware upgrades and refreshes in franchise complexes or data centres, and handling the installation of new hardware or the removal of retired equipment. Responsibilities include; Performing data and voice cabling within the data centre, PABX rooms, and other buildings in the franchisor office and franchise complexes. Coordinating equipment movements between various sites. Analysing current working practices and recommending improvements. Contributing to critical initiatives across the organization. Investigating and resolving incidents and service requests to a high standard. Participating in incident management, problem management, root cause analysis, and change management following internal processes. Automating all critical and repeatable tasks wherever possible. Creating and updating documentation, user guides, and contributing to the knowledge base. Conducting research on emerging technologies to support infrastructure development. About you You will be passionate about a career in technology, with hands-on experience and a solid understanding of how computer systems interact. You will excel at establishing and maintaining excellent, efficient working relationships with both customers and vendors. You will also have: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Ability to effectively coordinate with various stakeholders and vendors. Ability to manage conflicting priorities and handle work efficiently. Able to communicate effectively with different stakeholders at all levels within an organisation. Able to work independently and collaboratively with the team to resolve escalated queries as needed.
