About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at our Kwinana Pigment Plant. This role will oversee a team of skilled technicians and craftsmen, guiding them through daily tasks, troubleshooting challenges, and fostering a culture of excellence. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency across all mechanical operations.
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager this role will have the below duties:
8. Demonstrating and instilling an overriding commitment to health, safety and environment.
9. Contribute to the planning process that enables production and processing optimisation, along with coordinating daily maintenance activities to ensure reliability of equipment and productivity of team.
10. Setting and clearly communicating targets and expectations.
11. Reviewing and monitoring maintenance performance on a daily and weekly basis, to ensure team performance is achieved.
12. Overseeing, coaching and mentoring employees to deliver on plan and build a high performing team.
13. Management of all site-based assets that fall in the Maintenance portfolio including deployments, Installations, spares, repairs and maintenance along with the required records and documentation to support compliance.
14. Determine, propose, monitor and review work scopes for the Plant’s maintenance activities considering technical requirements and resourcing
15. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
16. Assisting with monitoring of our contracting partners work activities.
17. Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback, and implementing best practices to optimize processes and outcomes.
18. Managing your team’s development and aligning them to meet business needs and our values.
About you
To be successful in your application you will ideally need to possess:
19. Experience leading and mentoring teams and ability to provide leadership and development of team.
20. Proven experience in a supervisory role in Mineral processing, Chemical processing or Oil and Gas.
21. Systems knowledge of SAP, Standardised work, and Microsoft office advantageous
22. Diploma in Frontline Management or formal leadership program advantageous
23. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members towards common goals.
24. Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making, with a strategic mindset to drive operational excellence.
25. Familiarity with relevant safety regulations and quality standards, with a commitment to upholding best practices.
