About the RoleYou will play a critical role in supporting young people across Emerald and surrounding areas. You will provide early intervention and therapeutic support, working closely with young people and their families to create tailored, person-centred care plans. You'll be part of a team that embraces compassion, creativity and collaboration, delivering both individual and group-based services in centre and via outreach.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct clinical assessments and collaboratively develop youth-directed care plansDeliver 1:1 counselling, psychoeducation, and skills-building sessionsProvide inclusive, youth-friendly, and family-aware interventionsFacilitate early intervention therapy and group programsAttend care coordination and case review meetingsMaintain accurate, confidential participant recordsKeep up to date with current legislation and best practicesEngage in professional development and clinical supervisionSupport a culture of continuous improvement and team wellbeingMaintain and manage a consistent caseloadDemonstrate improved outcomes in young people's wellbeingCollaborate effectively with young people and their families/supportsSupport participants' pathways through headspace Emerald servicesAbout YouYou are a motivated, empathetic, and qualified allied health professional, with a strong commitment to youth mental health and a collaborative approach to care.Mandatory Qualifications & ExperienceTertiary qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, or Mental Health NursingFull or provisional AHPRA registration, or ACA Level 1+ (with willingness to progress to Level 2/3)Willingness to work towards mental health accreditation (if applicable)Desirable - Postgraduate qualification in youth mental healthDesirable - Experience in the not-for-profit or public sectorOn Offer:Up to $106,700 + superSalary SacrificeSupport with relocation costsOngoing training developmentApply now or for more information, please call Mel Ireland, or email,
