Schedule Full-time Position.A 38-hour week (Monday – Friday + reasonable overtime).Salary (negotiable based on knowledge and experience).The Position LAI Group are looking for a document controller with at least 2+ years experience in managing document control processes, providing administrative assistance, and using any electronic document management system (EDMS) such as Aconex, BIM 360, TeamBinder, particularly in the engineering/construction and/or manufacturing industry. This may be via an EDMS portal (Aconex, TeamBinder, BIM 360).Responsible for maintaining correspondence register, Control/Track/Issue of complete project documentation such as incoming and outgoing correspondence, reports, Submittals, and other forms of pertinent documents from the client and suppliers/subcontractors.Implementing and maintaining a coordinated and consistent filing system; ensuring that all filing is up-to-date and in accordance with HSEQ procedures and as per ISO standards.Following up with team for timely submission/resubmission of project documentation and ensuring that pre-established document control requirements (e.g., which document numbering system will be used) are satisfactorily met throughout the duration of the project.Organizing the filing of hard copy records including maintaining accurate records of the archiving and filing systems; File documents in physical and digital records and ensure appropriate storage.Coordinating the flow of documents between project operations and design & engineering department.Working closely with clients and Project leaders to ensure an exemplary level of quality.Prepare vendor document register list (VDRL) and liaise with document control or delegate from the client side to ensure timely submission of documentation.Successful closeout and handover of documentation such as MDR and O&M manuals as per project requirements.Assisting junior document control staff to ensure effective implementation of project-specific procedures.Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Essential Skills: Previous experience working for an engineering/construction and/or manufacturing firm will be desirable.Experience in utilising Microsoft Office, Aconex, BIM360, TeamBinder or EDMS will be an advantage.Experience in the setup of a document control filing system.Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.We look forward to finding the appropriate candidates to join our team here in Adelaide.
