About the Role
Foodworks Greenwell Point is seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead the operations of our store in Greenwell Point, NSW. This is an exciting opportunity for a retail professional with a strong background in liquor or supermarket retail to manage day-to-day operations, deliver exceptional customer service, and drive the store's ongoing success.
Important Note: Applicants must have a minimum of 2-3 years of independent experience as a Retail Manager in a liquor shop or retail establishment. Applications without relevant experience in the proposed occupation will not be considered.
Key Responsibilities
Store Operations: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of daily store operations to ensure efficiency and compliance
Staff Management: Recruit, train, supervise, and support staff to deliver high standards of customer service
Inventory & Stock Control: Manage stock levels, coordinate ordering, and maintain accurate inventory records
Sales & Customer Service: Drive sales performance while ensuring an excellent in-store experience for customers
Financial Management: Monitor store budgets, control expenses, and analyse financial reports to guide business decisions
Promotions & Merchandising: Implement promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies to enhance sales
Health, Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant retail environment, with adherence to liquor licensing regulations
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 2-3 years' experience as a Retail Manager in a liquor shop or comparable retail environment
Strong leadership and team management capabilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Proven ability to manage sales targets, stock control, and regulatory compliance
Experience in staff supervision, training, and performance management
