About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer with data analytics and reporting skills to join our IT Team. This dynamic position will work collaboratively with the Senior Developer and IT Team. In this role, you will be responsible to assess and process improvements with proven ability to design, develop, test, and deploy necessary changes. This is a 6-month contract position with the potential to become permanent based on business needs.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyse requirements and design software solutions.
* Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in C# and VB.NET.
* Ensure reliability and stability of applications through testing and debugging activities.
* Assist with data analytics and reporting (ad-hoc queries, Crystal Reports, Power BI).
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent).
* Proven experience in C# and VB.NET development (WinForms and XAML).
* Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
* Familiarity with SQL databases and web technologies (ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with data analytics tools (Crystal Reports, Power BI).
* Knowledge of front-end frameworks (jQuery, Maui).
