Reporting to the Supervisor Facility Maintenance, you will be responsible for undertaking inspections and maintenance of all City playgrounds and park furniture.This position will also be required to regularly engage with other members of the Facility Maintenance Team and will occasionally liaise with external contractors.What You'll NeedTo be successful in this role you will need: Highly developed maintenance/general handyman skills and previous experience in the building industry. Ability to undertake maintenance work, manual handling, work with power tools and use own initiative. Developed interpersonal and customer relations skills and the ability to work in a team environment. Must be physically capable to undertake the work including working at heights. Driver's Licence, Working at Heights Certificate and First Aid qualification. Ability to attain a level 3 Playground Safety Auditor Certification. *Please note the hours of work for this position are 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 7:00 am - 3:45 pm Friday.
