Currently, they are in search of an experienced Site Manager / Foremanwho has a proven track record of at least 5 years in similar roles.
You will work closely with the Project Manager and Contract Administrator and be responsible for all site-related matters.
What you can get?Competitive salary package, including a car allowance and company laptopCollaborative and supportive team with a positive company cultureExciting career growth opportunities, working on high-profile, record-breaking residential projectsKey Responsibilities:Collaborate with project manager to understand project requirements, timelines, and budget.Develop a detailed construction schedule and plan, taking into account all aspects of the project.Set up and organize the construction site, including the installation of necessary facilities and infrastructure.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement proper safety measures on the site.Supervise and manage on-site construction teams, including subcontractors and labourers.Assign tasks, provide direction, and ensure that work is carried out efficiently and according to quality standards.Coordinate the allocation of resources, including labour, equipment, and materials.Monitor and manage the inventory of materials and equipment needed for construction activities.Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that work meets specified standards and regulations.Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any quality issues.Act as a liaison between different project stakeholders, including directors, project managers, architects, engineers, clients, and subcontractors.Provide regular project updates to relevant parties and address any concerns or issues that arise during construction.Identify and resolve challenges or obstacles that may arise during the construction process.Make decisions to keep the project on track and within budget while maintaining quality standards.Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and other relevant construction standards.Work with regulatory authorities to secure necessary approvals and inspections.Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Site Manager or similar role, preferably with Class 1 building construction experience.Background in carpentry or general Labor is highly regarded.Strong understanding of the entire construction cycle, from demolition and excavation to project completion.Proficient in reading and interpreting construction drawings.Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach, willing to get involved as needed.Familiarity with Procore and MS Project.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.** Applicants must be physically located in Australia and must be an Australian or New Zealand Citizen or a Permanent Resident of Australia *Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted
