About You :
* Diploma in Leadership Management or Hospitality Management or similar
* Previous experience in procurement and understanding
* Current Senior First Aid Certificate
* Approved Managers License
* Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate (to be maintained by employee)
* Current Responsible Service of Gambling (RGA) Certificate (to be maintained by employee)
Position Summary :
Under guidance of the Chief Executive Officer and or the Operations Manager the Duty Manager is to undertake the duties of management and supervision of the Club's activities, functions and business, along with supervision and control of staff.
The Duty Manager you will be responsible for overseeing and managing staff, ensuring that the daily tasks are delegated and assigned to the respective staff member by Supervisors. You will ensure training and supervision is provided for all staff members in the designated area and be the a point of contact for escalated queries for the rostered shift.
The Duty Manager must be fully conversant with Club's policies and operating procedures and must be ready to take a "hands on" approach to ensure consistent delivery of high standards of customer service and products.

* Provide positive, constructive feedback for fellow staff, Shift Supervisor/s etc
Job Responsibility :
* Investigate, explain and report on any discrepancies to the management
* Assisting in procurement, ordering stock in accordance with bar levels and the needs of the business
* Establish and implement procedures for operational purposes including procurement
* Maintain stock control through monitoring of wastage, effective ordering/receiving and storage procedures
* Ensure maximum productivity and profitability in the Club by giving direction to fellow employees of a lower level
* Assist the management team in controlling expenditures such as Cost Of Employment (COE) through ensuring staffing levels are in alignment with the amount of activity within the business (i.e. sending employees home or on breaks when not busy)
* Supervision and training of employees, taking initiative in ensuring high level of customer satisfaction at all times
* Report any disciplinary action to the Human Resources Manager or praise of employees of a lower level to Management
* Perform administrative duties in conjunction with management (i.e. collecting invoices, carrying out and recording of food safety requirements)
* On call for emergencies or staffing requirements
* Ensure the work environment ad all maintenance tasks comply with Workplace Health and Safety legislation.
* Consistently demonstrate professionalism, integrity, commitment, fairness and co-operation in all aspects of the above responsibilities.
