We are on the search for keen and enthusiastic candidates who are wanting to kick start their career in mining! We have surface labourer roles available across various departments at a local mine site. These roles are residential only - FIFO will not be considered.
About the Role:
* Various rosters available
* Maintain plant housekeeping and general labouring such as hosing & shovelling
* Use of hand and power tools and industrial sized pressure cleaners
* Working at heights and in confined spaces
* Monitoring fixed plant
* Working around furnace and molten metal
* If ticketed, you may be required to operate machinery such as forklifts and cranes
Requirements:
* Valid Australian driver's licence is preferred but not essential for all departments
* Willing to be clean shaven daily
* Ability to pass a low risk medical and JTE and complete a drug and alcohol test
* Forklift, Crane and other machinery experience/tickets are highly desirable
* Previous mining and/or labouring experience
