Compass Group Australia is a leading player in the hospitality site services industry, known for delivering exceptional guest experiences across the globe. We are now seeking a dedicated and dynamic National Workforce Rostering & Contingent Labour Manager to lead our workforce management efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
Streamlining rostering and timesheeting processes to ensure that the right number of people are rostered at each site, driving both operational and financial efficiencies.
Optimising and increasing the utilisation of our Casual Pool in the Urban sector, while reducing our dependence on agency staffing.
Championing compliance with our Time and Attendance system to ensure 100% utilisation across all sites.
Providing real-time data to our operations team, focusing on four-week advance rostering and maintaining optimal labour levels at each site.
Driving overall workforce planning initiatives to achieve operational and financial targets with the right people, at the right site, at the right time, and with the right skills.
Overseeing the contingent labour program, including onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of temporary staff to meet peak demands.
Ensuring labour practices comply with legal and industry standards, including labour laws and collective agreements.
Managing relationships with both internal business partners and support services, as well as external labour agencies and staffing vendors, to ensure effective workforce and recruitment forecasting and the availability of contingent labour.
Leading and inspiring the rostering and contingent labour team, fostering a culture of innovation and efficiency.
The Person:
Proven leadership experience in workforce rostering, labour management, and contingent labour coordination within large-scale teams and industries.
Hospitality Industry experience is preferred.
Familiarity with workforce management software and technology solutions.
Experience in data analysis, report generation, and the use of workforce management software is critical. This includes interpreting key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive improvements in workforce management.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Experience in change management, including restructurings, acquisitions, or technology implementations, is valuable.
