Why Sunrise Health Service?
Sunrise is an independent community controlled health service that provides comprehensive primary health care services to nine remote health centres and to the 4000 people living in the Katherine East region. Health centres are located at Barunga, Manyallaluk, Wugularr, Bulman, Mataranka, Jilkminggan, Minyerri, Ngukurr and Urapunga.

What’s the role?
* Provide a visiting service to all Sunrise clinics and communities, delivering individual and group physiotherapy services to clients and their families across the life span.
* Work with a diverse range of clients, including those with developmental needs, chronic diseases, musculoskeletal issues, and post-operative rehabilitation needs.
* Conduct thorough assessments, develop treatment plans, implement evidence-based practices and promote health and wellness within the community.
* Regular travel may be required to the nine remote clinic sites in SHSAC service delivery areas.
* Provide clinical leadership and support to other health professionals within the organisation, fostering a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
Is this the right role for you?
* Relevant qualifications as a Physiotherapist and registered with AHPRA
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in physiotherapy
* Strong understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and communities – previous experience working within remote or regional groups.
* Good interpersonal skills, effective listening and communication skills.
NT PHN/RWA NT may be able to offer relocation support and clinical educational financial assistance to health professionals who are relocating to the NT or moving within the NT to a greater remoteness area classification for the purposes of employment and further clinical education.
