About the Role: As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will play a crucial role in driving sales and expanding the client base. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with travel agency partners, and identifying new business opportunities. Key Responsibilities: Identify potential partners, initiate contact, and conduct meetings to present our clients services and partnership opportunities. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives. Conduct sales presentations and product training sessions for travel agents and clients. Negotiate and finalise partnership agreements that drive mutual growth Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote our products and services. Monitor market trends and customer feedback to inform sales strategies. Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to senior management. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns. Build and maintain strong relationships with travel agents and other partners. Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction. Qualifications: Strong knowledge of travel products, destinations, and industry trends. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Proven experience in a travel sales or business development role, preferably within the travel wholesale industry. Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Ability to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events. To be successful in this role, you must have the following: Minimum 2 years in the travel industry ideally as a BDM / Sales Rep Ability to leverage and convert existing travel industry networks Manage and strengthen existing accounts Natural ability and confidence to convert a new client through written/verbal, presentations and sales visits.
