We have a full-time position available soon in our Tweed Heads company store (NSW). As part of the DuluxGroup, a leading marketer and manufacturer of premium branded products, Inspirations Paint employees are part of Australia's largest network of paint stores, serving both retail (DIY) and trade (professional/commercial) markets.
The paint industry is a specialised industry. You will be provided with ongoing training to equip you with the skills required. Relevant personal experience in home improvement projects or within the paint or hardware industries is an advantage.
This position is available for an enthusiastic and motivated individual seeking an opportunity to develop their career. You will need to be available to work Monday to Saturday. Store hours are 6.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday, and 7am to 12pm Saturday.
Responsibilities include
* Providing an exemplary customer experience to both retail and trade customers.
* Tinting & mixing paint.
* Following the "Inspirations Way".
* Provide exceptional customer service and product knowledge in the areas of paint and protective coatings, while assisting with sales, stock control and merchandising.
* Store presentation, stock management, housekeeping.
* Workplace Health & Safety.
Experience / Attributes
* Demonstrated customer service with personalised customer focus.
* Well presented both in appearance and communication.
* Able to contribute and work in a team environment.
* Proven sales experience and a strong knowledge of paint and associated products.
* Approachable, confident and energetic with a pleasant disposition and the ability to effectively deal with customer queries and/or customer complaints.
* Attention to detail, initiative and the ability to learn new systems.
* Honest, reliable and punctual.
* This role involves heavy lifting up to 25kgs.
