ALS Environmental is seeking a Bottle Dispatch Attendant responsible for receiving, preparing, and dispatching client bottle orders to collect environmental samples. This full-time role will be based at our Brisbane - Stafford site.
The Bottle Dispatch Attendant plays a critical role in maintaining smooth operations within the chemical dispatch process. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing sample containers with appropriate labelling and fulfilling customer orders promptly. The attendant monitors stock levels in the Bottle Store Area, ensuring compliance with quality procedures and dangerous goods regulations. Essential skills for this position include general computer literacy, the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and effective task planning and prioritization.
The day to day Preparing sample containers including lids, labelling and dispersing chemicals.Ensuring all customer orders are filled and dispatched on time.Monitoring and managing all stock levels in the Bottle Store Area.Ensuring all bottles are prepared in accordance with the Quality procedures.Cleaning eskies with a high-pressure water cleaner.Preparing sample bottles and maintaining adequate levels of stock.Dispatching sample bottles in accordance with bottle requests or standard orders.Ensuring bottles are sent as per dangerous regulations.Maintaining records of bottles and eskies dispatched.Ensuring the bottle preparation area is maintained in an orderly state.Ensuring bottles are forwarded to the QC staff on receipt for contamination checks.Any other duties as requested by Line Manager, Support Team Leader or Customer Service / Project Coordinator.The Essentials A strong work ethicAbility to work independently or as a teamAbility to plan and prioritise tasks and perform these tasks efficientlyBasic computer literacy skillsWorking at ALS Our people drive our success at ALS.
