The Role:
Reporting to the CEO you'll lead the Quality team and work closely with the Executive Leadership Team as well as key stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Do Develop and implement the strategic plan for the Quality function, by:Taking a strategic and proactive Quality approach to the identification and proactive management of existing or emerging challenges.Facilitating the use of relevant technology to improve operational efficiency.Undertake strategic problem-solving and Quality project work across the business to establish long-term effective solutions.Facilitate integration and cooperation on required standards across all operational areas.Manage, mentor and empower direct reports in the performance of their roles to ensure a high level of accountability.Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and all other standards and regulations as applicable.Ensure staff practices are focused on driving an active continuous improvement culture whilst providing services to clients and participants, including:Prompt follow-up of Continuous Improvement actionsInternal assessment and review of procedures, evaluation of new products and equipmentDrive the culture of person-centred care and ensure feedback mechanisms are in place to facilitate continuous improvement and a customer-focused culture.Ensure organisation policies and procedures are monitored, assessed for effectiveness, reviewed and updated as required.About You You are an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager with 10+ years of relevant experience preferably in the health sector. You are a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and the ability to deliver measurable results.
Quality, Risk and CI experience at a senior level across the Aged Care SectorDemonstrate contemporary knowledge of Commonwealth and State regulatory framework and the new Aged Care Act for Aged and Community ServicesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsTertiary qualifications in Nursing or Allied HealthExperience leading best care practice and systems managementCapability to coach, influence, and drive changeA consultative, co-operative approachExperience in leading and managing change #J-18808-Ljbffr
