Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Field Sales Engineer to join our Energy Division's, Energy Separation business unit in Oceania. The primary industries served include mining and water circularity, with a strong emphasis on Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) applications. This role is crucial in promoting and selling Alfa Laval products and services, particularly in environments where water management is critical, and transportation is costly.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Process Management: Follow established sales processes and guidelines to promote and sell Alfa Laval products and services. Develop and implement sales plans in line with the business division strategy and targets.
2. Market Analysis: Analyze and understand market insights and customer buying behavior. Utilize this information to create effective sales strategies and identify business opportunities.
3. Lead Management: Identify and manage leads from the market and customers. Convert leads into real business opportunities to ensure a robust sales pipeline.
4. Customer Engagement: Actively engage with the market through visits, meetings, and interactions with customers. Focus on understanding customer needs and highlighting the value of our products and services.
5. Commercial Operations: Manage the commercial operation by maintaining the customer grid and proactive planning using our tools. Build and maintain a strong network of customer relationships.
6. Quotation Development: Develop highly profitable quotes that reflect customer needs and emphasize the unique selling points of our products and services. Follow up to achieve a high hit-rate.
7. CRM Utilization: Consistently and qualitatively use the CRM tool and other tools to support the sales process and make informed decisions.
8. Sales Efficiency: Work proactively and structured to optimize sales efficiency and achieve sales targets.
