We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SHEQ Manager to lead our efforts in maintaining the highest standards of safety, health, environmental, and quality management across all aspects of our operations.We currently have an existing experienced team. This role will be responsible for setting the strategic direction whilst supporting Epiroc Australia in their business targets, harnessing on the team’s potential and collaborating with Epiroc Australia to set legal precedence.Key Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of safety, health, environment, and quality within the company, ensuring a proactive approach to risk management.Work in delivering Epiroc’s 2030 people and planet targets by implementing supporting strategies for Epiroc Australia.Assess the effectiveness of current processes and procedures and update the SHEQ system to be current with changed legislation and Epiroc Group requirements.Implement an audit program including conducting regular audits and inspections, working with business to address findings and identify areas for improvement.Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on SHEQ-related matters, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.Monitor and report on key SHEQ metrics and performance indicators, ensuring targets are met.Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring the company remains compliant with all relevant laws.Deliver training and awareness programs to employees on SHEQ-related topics.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve SHEQ performance across the company.Key Requirements:Proven experience in a senior SHEQ management role, ideally within the mining industry.Strong knowledge of SHEQ standards, regulations, and best practices.
