Nurture positive relationships with children, staff and families, promoting health, safety and wellbeing of children and developing positive and respectful relationships. Contribute to children's records of observations on children's learning. Planning, preparation and implementation of appropriate learning programs and environment for children and to guide professional practice based on Australian EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework). Work within a legal and ethical framework, based on NQS and national regulations. Establish and maintain collaborative and respectful relationships with colleagues and the wider community. Attend staff meetings, taking an active part in critical reflections about professional practice, pedagogical strategies, ELC philosophy and curriculum, QIP, children's learning and development, Planning and Assessment Cycle. About You A committed Christian with a deep desire to serve Jesus Christ as Lord. Demonstrated passion for biblically-based Christian education. Commitment to the Christian ethos of the College and the Statement of Faith. A personal commitment to the Emmaus Vision, Mission and Values underpinning the delivery of a Christian based education to children. Certificate III in Children's Services approved by ACECQA (or working towards an Early Childhood Education qualification). Understanding and knowledge of the standards set by the National Quality Framework, the Early Years Learning Framework. Ability to cope effectively under pressure in an emergency or stressful situation. Thorough understanding and implementation of a play-based curriculum. Competent computer skills to manage documentation, learning resources and use of technology tools to support learning. Behaviour management skills reflecting restorative practices and the ability to develop and demonstrate positive behaviour strategies and support children's learning. Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively and communicate clearly. Valid Working With Children Check, RRHAN-EC and Senior First Aid certification (incl.
