The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties: Take the lead role in the day-to-day management of onsite safety, including monitoring of site safety, completion of safety administration and a proactive approach to safety practices and rectification when required. Ensure that on-site HS&E and Quality inductions with all subcontractors and on-site labour are conducted prior to their commencement of work. Action all safety reports, audits and items raised because of on-site consultation procedures. Ensure Quality compliance on all projects Oversee the formulation/coordination of the site programme/s and issue to relevant parties (including project manager, project supervisors and subcontractors.) Manage the overall site activity to the site programme or multiple programmes or multiple sites. Develop overall project plans for entire project to meet the Head contract requirements. Deliver the set project sustainability objectives from commencement to completion e.g. NABERS/Green Star. Support and enforce the delivery of sustainability objectives and targets. Review and manage key project issues, including with statutory bodies. Establish and maintenance of the site compound and amenities. Manage labour/labour hire - Manage the overall activity of project supervisors, subcontractors and site labour to the project plan, project drawings and specifications. People Management and Leadership – manage and coach staff effectively, leading the site team in achieving project and individual goals. To succeed in this role, you will have: In-depth knowledge of legislation, rules, regulations and standards relating to building sites (e.g. industrial relations, HS&E, Workcover, local government etc.) Solid understanding of project planning, materials handling and programming (particularly in relation to delivery to the program) Understanding of tasks and activities of a wide variety of building trades Ability to manage subcontractors within agreed contracts Attention to detail Experience with Procore, JobPac and Asta Powerproject would be an advantage but not essential Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications Ability to manage and coordinate union activity on site Ability to design a site-specific Induction Well-developed ability to lead, coach and motivate large and complex site teams Ideal candidate will possess the below: Trade qualification or a building related qualification 10 years experience in the site supervision and management of large construction projects, including planning, programming and the management of subcontractors and site labour Site Supervisor QBCC License First Aid certificate Construction Safety Induction (white) card Would you like to join a team that really makes a difference?
