You will be providing person-centred support to people living with disabilities (participants), in order for them to enjoy dignity, freedom, and independence. We offer flexible working arrangements in both individual and group support for people of all skills and backgrounds. ResponsibilitiesEssential •Deliver individualised and personalised support to participants.•Support participants to exercise choice and control.•Provide high-quality support in line with the objectives of the NDIS either in the participant’s home, Participate Australia site, or in the community.•Ability to work a variety of shifts including, morning, day, evening and weekends.•Promote social inclusion for individuals with disabilities.•Demonstrate excellent communication skills.•Collaborate effectively within a team while also being able to work independently.•Committed to the rights of people with disabilities.•Access to the internet and a phone for rosters and client reportingDesirable•Experience supporting people with disability or work in the health care.•Certificate III or IV Individual Support/Disability •Hold a current Drivers licence (P1 or above) and access to a vehicle would be highly desirable.•Local candidates highly recommended to apply.As an employer, Participate Australia is required to ensure that staff are suitably skilled and trained to competently perform their duties in a safe and appropriate manner.Participate Australia requires all applicants who can be safely vaccinated for COVID-19, to be so.
