The role
Due to growth, we are seeking a Clinician/Clinical Psychologist to play a crucial role within our SRSS program, assisting clients through significant life transitions. These Clinicians will be integral in helping clients develop coping strategies, reduce the impact of these transitions, and ensure their smooth progress. Focused on the safety and well-being of asylum seekers and refugees, these roles require delivering high-quality assessments, consultation, and referral services aimed at fostering mental health improvements and helping clients achieve their goals while awaiting visa decisions.
Candidates should bring a robust background in mental health, with 2-5 years of post-graduate experience, and be prepared to offer clinical case management through outcome-oriented therapeutic models. This opportunity is perfect for highly qualified and experienced practitioners, such as clinical psychologists with a passion for making a tangible difference in the lives of those undergoing significant changes.

Key Requirements
7. Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, with a current registration or eligibility for registration with the professional body or Psychology Board of Australia to practice as a psychologist.
8. Previous experience in clinical or forensic psychology is highly desirable.
9. The ability to work collaboratively with agencies that support people with complex and challenging needs such as with mental health services, GPs, Psychiatrists, or other statutory or community-based services.
This permanent full-time position offers the flexibility to work from the Parramatta office and home, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while contributing to a vital cause. A Tool of Trade Vehicle, including a fuel card or a $12,000 p/a car allowance, will be allocated to the successful candidate as frequent travel to each of these locations is required.
