We need an HR Manager based at our Subiaco office who is positive, driven, solution-focused, and ideally with sector-specific experience, but not essential. This is a true generalist role reporting directly to the founder / CEO and working with our part-time People and Culture Officer, whilst collaborating closely with the management team. This is a great role for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, varied role working across the full scope of HR. Responsibilities Act as a trusted partner to employees and managers on HR matters, providing coaching, guidance and support on issues related to employee development, career progression, and performance improvement. Support leaders through one-on-one coaching. Policy writing and optimisation. Lead, develop and implement talent attraction and retention strategies. Conduct resourcing needs analysis to understand current & future workforce requirements. Network with potential hires through professional groups, on social media or during events. Support the review and optimisation of the organisations health, safety and wellbeing management system. Support end-to-end recruitment in collaboration with the broader People and Culture Team. Management of employee and industrial relations matters. Management and processing of the fortnightly payroll. Lead the creation and implementation of induction and ongoing L&D programmes. HRIS management. Requirements and Skills At least 3 years’ experience in talent acquisition or human resources. A bachelor’s degree in human resources, psychology, business or demonstrated capability through past employment The ability to demonstrate initiative, plan effectively and be proactive in all facets of the role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with all stakeholders. Extensive knowledge in the management and mitigation of workplace risk. Can coach leaders to achieve desirable outcomes. Experience managing the payroll process. Knowledge of Employment Hero advantageous. Excellent organisational and leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
