Your opportunity
We are seeking an organised and efficient Primary Administration Officer to join our team.
As a Primary Administration Officer, you will provide essential administrative support to the Primary school’s leadership, staff, students, and parents. Working two days a week during school terms and staff professional development weeks, you will assist in various tasks to maintain the efficient running of the school office. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time position within a positive, community-focused environment.
Commencing in January 2025, this position is two days per week (Thursdays and Fridays), 8 am to 3.30 pm, during staff professional development weeks and school terms. Except for periods of annual leave, school holidays are unpaid.
Essential qualifications and requirements
Hold a positive notice (Working with Children Check) ‘Blue Card’ (or the ability to obtain before commencing employment).
Be fully aligned with the values, virtues, and Christian beliefs of Freshwater Christian College.
Able to affirm the College’s Statement of Faith.
Able to comply with College policies, procedures, codes of conduct, and training requirements, including those related to work health and safety, risk management, child protection, and confidentiality.
Able to work with all members of the College community.
Attention to detail;
Sound communication skills (written and oral), organisational and time management skills.
Experience with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive) and Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Publisher) at an intermediate level;
Experience in an office administration environment, including routine use of office equipment and technology.Highly Regarded:
Certificate IV in Business Administration or greater.
Experience in a school administration environment.
